CRHE Enrollment Instructions
Below are the guidelines for enrolling in CRHE classes for the 2012/13 school year.
Please read carefully before contacting tutors. DO NOT CONTACT ANY TUTOR BEFORE OPEN HOUSE ENROLLMENT ON APRIL 17.
Important Dates:
Open House Enrollment – Tuesday, April 17 @ Council Road Baptist Church from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Last day of regular enrollment – August 15
Late Enrollment ($10 per class late fee) – After August 15
MANDATORY Parent Meeting – August 21 @ CRBC from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Open House Enrollment:
CRHE will host an Open House night on April 17 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at CRBC. This is an opportunity for parents and students to pay co-op enrollment fees, sign up for service hours, meet with tutors and enroll in classes.
CRHE Enrollment Requirements:
Coop Fees: $25 per student, $15 each additional student in family, for 2012/13 school year. Must be paid in cash only and before enrolling in any class.
Service Hours: A parent is required to serve two housrs per student per semester as a CUBE monitor.
Materials Fees: Paid either upon enrollment or during parent meeting to tutors (if applicable).
Tuition Cost: Post-dated checks or monthly fee paid to tutors for their services.
Procedures for Enrolling:
1) Carefully review the calendar, schedule, tutor bios and class descriptions before enrolling. You can view these items at www.crbchomeschool.com.
2) Pay coop enrollment fee of $25 per student ($15 for each additional student in the family). Contact enrollment.crhe@gmail.com to make arrangements for this payment (cash only).
3) Contact individual tutors to discuss enrolling your student in their class. (From the “Welcome” page, click on the “Tutors” link on the right-hand column. You will find a listing with links to each tutor where you also find their email or phone contact info).
4) Complete the 2012/2013 ENROLLMENT FORM (click on link) for each class requested and provide in person or via email to the tutor. Your student is not officially enrolled in a class until you receive confirmation from the tutor. Each tutor has their own requirements for their class enrollment. Once the maximum number of students in a class has been met, the tutor may place a student on a waiting list.
5) If enrolling after August 15, you must pay a $10 late fee to the coop (cash only) for each class enrolling in (after receiving the tutor’s permission.)
6) At least one parent per family MUST attend the Mandatory Parent Meeting on August 21.
7) Parents may sign up for CUBE monitor service hours and pay tuition/materials fees to tutors immediately following the parent meeting.
